Classroom Training Materials
Using your company's scripts, To-Be process models, as well as other information, Intelligo's experienced consultants will work with your subject matter experts to define the role-based training courses and curriculum your employees will need. We will also begin to capture enterprise data that defines the organization, for use in training and performance support materials.
Once our consultants have reviewed and validated the existing materials, they may supplement or enhance them with our standard industry-specific process models, as appropriate. We will then create our role-based training material prototypes for the following as appropriate for your company's requirements:
| Process flows | |||
| End-user work instructions that provide step-by-step instructions for completing tasks | |||
| Quick reference cards for on-the-job support | |||
| Role-specific process and system demonstrations and hands-on exercises and data sheets | |||
| Performance-based assessments of the learner's ability to complete the task, augmented with more traditional tests for key concepts and processes | |||
| Training plans for instructors, including clear course and lesson objectives, and training guidelines | |||
| Design of deployment website or other online deployment vehicle | |||
| Design of simulations or other WBT components, if included in the scope | |||
We make training topics user friendly and reusable across end-user groups and within end-user courses, where applicable. Training courses will typically be categorized as general training, process training, and functional training. A mix of each of these training courses will be needed to train end users effectively.
During this phase, we will also create standards for all training materials and as part of the standards definition, we will determine the deployment medium of the materials that we produce. All materials that Intelligo produces are designed to be deployed online in one of the following mediums:
| HTML | |||
| Word (hyperlinked files) | |||
| If "Show-Me How" or "Let Me Try" simulations (interactive or non-interactive demos) are included, they are generally in Flash format, but this can vary, depending upon the tool selected and your requirements | |||
Because our materials can be deployed online, this allows us to get multiple uses out of the materials we create; that is, we create once and use many times, saving your company time and money.
Develop Training Materials - During this phase, our consultants will take the training courses identified and create the actual training materials. This will be an iterative approach where consultants participate in Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and User Acceptance Tests (UATs) and then work with your company's subject matter experts to develop and review the content of the training. Much of this information comes from the signed-off "to-be" models, as well as information about the system configuration that comes from the scripts developed for the CRPs and UATs. This serves several purposes:
| To finalize the curriculum requirements for each user group | |||
| To help with defining the roles for role-based security within EnterpriseOne software | |||
During and after the CRPs and UATs, we create customized materials, and review, test and validate training solutions so they are ready for the Train-The-Trainer sessions.
