Training Design
To maximize the return on your training investment, Intelligo designs your training materials to outlive your go-live training.
One of the unique features of our custom training solution is that we take into account:
- Who is being trained
- How it will look
- How the training materials will be delivered and used
- Any company-specific considerations
The Intelligo training design process includes:
- Performing Role-based Mapping analysis
- Developing Prototypes
- Gathering materials
- Incorporating translation and localization needs
- Identifying project management needs
Effective training starts with targeting the right people to the right training skills. As part of your training design, Intelligo maps your user's roles to the specific skills to be trained.
Roles are not necessarily job titles. Across large organizations, the job title of a person who performs any given task may vary. Developing your curriculum based on your company roles helps us to take a role-based approach to training.
Our role-based training approach creates training classes based on common sets of skills. This helps ensure consistent training over a specific skill set.
Before Intelligo begins creating your custom training materials, we create prototypes for all of your training materials. We start with our Intelligo standards and formats, and then incorporate your organization's standards, colors, and logos to develop a look and feel that reflects your company.
Your project manager then reviews the prototypes and makes suggestions for changes. The result is a set of training materials which represents your company and your language.
As part of the prototyping process, when applicable, we also work with you to test the deployment of our materials. This ensures the materials we develop can be deployed in a manner consistent with your company policies and custom training plan.
As part of developing a customized training solution for you, we gather copies of your existing project-related materials.
These materials can include:
- Business Process documents and process flows – We use these to provide context to the transaction processes.
- Test Scripts – We use these to guide us in developing step-by-step transaction processes. This reduces our dependence on your development team.
- Other related training materials – We use these in documenting specific transactions. We can often leverage these to reduce document development time.
- Project Overviews – We use these in a similar same way as your business process documents and process flows.
- Graphics Library – We use this to include meaningful elements and provide visual interest within the training materials.
Included early in the project, Intelligo's experienced consultants can help you create any project-related materials. In many cases, we can help you save money on your overall project costs by using some of our tools such as Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) and datango performance suite to create reusable documentation objects.
As part of the customized training design process, Intelligo can assist in getting your simulations and documentation translated into other languages.
We have experience in working with translation companies and language localization requirements. We prepare the simulations for translation and finalize them once the translations are completed. We coordinate the translation process, making sure the documentation is properly converted to the desired languages.
To keep you on the right road, as part of the customized training and design process, Intelligo provides project management.
Our project management goes beyond ensuring the project is completed according to the Statement of Work. Intelligo's Project Managers work with the client to guarantee the customized training materials are created timely and efficiently, with any issues are resolved immediately. Additionally, we work with you to establish the review process to make sure the training materials accurately reflect your system functionality and business processes.
As part of our project management package, we provide a customized MS Access database to track all the materials we create for you. Your project team leads can access the database to review the materials' status. Reports can be generated from this database to review the overall status of the project or individual areas.
