Section 508c

Intelligo understands the need to ensure that all materials developed and deployed comply with Section 508c of the Federal Rehabilitation Act (FRA). It is important to not only provide disabled employees equal access to information technology, but to allow them the chance to work effectively in their jobs.

Intelligo's instructional designers and eLearning developers design their software, software documentation, and Web sites intended for use by the United States Federal Government to meet accessibility standards specified in the Section 508 regulations. We ensure that we meet this in the websites we develop, mainly by adding text labels for graphics and formatting on a Web page so that tools such as screen readers and Braille displays can translate this information into a recognizable format for vision-impaired users.

Intelligo is also experienced in developing usability of the following for vision-impaired users:

  Multimedia presentations
  Image maps
  Style sheets
  Scripting languages
  Applets and plug-ins
  Electronic forms

Contact Intelligo for more information on how we can help ensure that your Website and online learning is 508c compliant.
